Armed with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from WPI and a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from MIT, Richard has amassed decades of expertise as an Energy Engineer, specializing in pioneering energy technologies.
Before spearheading the establishment of FTEC in 2019, Richard honed his skills and leadership within the energy sector through pivotal roles at three electric utilities, a natural gas utility, and as a consultant in emerging energy technologies. His visionary approach and commitment to innovation continue to drive FTEC's mission towards shaping the future of sustainable energy solutions.
Zach assumes the pivotal role of co-founder and Chief Operating Officer at FT Energy Controls, LLC, leveraging his profound expertise in electrical engineering and law to drive the company's strategic initiatives. Armed with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Syracuse University, as well as a Master's and Doctorate in Electrical Engineering from MIT, Zach possesses a comprehensive understanding of cutting-edge technological advancements.
His contributions to FTEC encompass spearheading research and development efforts in electronics and firmware, ensuring the company remains at the forefront of innovation in the energy sector. In addition to his prowess as a practicing engineer, Zach's multidisciplinary background extends to the legal realm, where he serves as an esteemed member of the Pennsylvania and Massachusetts bars. He earned his Juris Doctor from Suffolk University, further enhancing his capacity to navigate complex regulatory landscapes and propel FTEC's mission forward with unwavering integrity and expertise.
